Coming from Los Angeles to South Tucson, Mel and Melissa Dominguez felt their neighborhood’s strong Latinx presence, but, at the same time, felt there was a lack of much needed representation there. This led them to take a chance in opening an art gallery that would grant greater access to art in the community. Partners in business, and for life, the two of them have created a gallery that has aided many artists of color and transformed into more than just a space for art.
