“What do you want to be when you grow up?” is the age-old question kids hear all the time. Some children say they want to be an astronaut or a firefighter or maybe they want to be on the big screen one day. But, sometimes passions don’t work out the way we want them to and it’s something that gets pushed to the back burner – it gets placed into the “maybe later” pile. For Jacqueline Chanda, her passions lied in painting and all things art as a child. Now, she’s a retired art educator who finally has the chance to re-pursue her first love, painting, years after her career has ended. Caroline Recupero has the story.
